Innovative Ideas in Turbulent Times.

 

The Office of the Head of Service of the Federation recently invited all civil servants to participate in the Innovative Challenge Competition to pave way on how to promote innovation in the civil service. This is aimed at cultivating ideas, technologies, enhanced service delivery, efficiency and productivity in the public service during and after COVID19 pandemic. 

During brainstorming by members of various teams, Obisesan advocated for Experimental Government, Odigili advocated for the Imperative of decentralisationof the functions of Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (OHCSF) and Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) Statutory Provisions Vision Proposition, Awal proposed Intellectual Property while Madubuko advocated for E-office for enhanced social distancing and eradication of COVID19 pandemic among others.

All hands are on deck to see which of these ideas would sell through for the betterment of the civil service innovation particular and Nigeria at large.
